Bizarrap, Mexican Institute of Sound and more in the return of the PortAmerica Festival

The Galician towns of La Azucreira de Portas, A Carballeira and A Tafona de Caldas de Reis will host the tenth edition of the PortAmérica Festival 2022 on June 2, 3 and 4.

The event has already announced new confirmations of artists, including some internationally renowned musicians, to celebrate its first edition in style at the new Portas venue: A Azucreira.

Added to a lineup that already had great attractions is Bizarrap, the biggest trap producer today; WOS, the Argentine rapper of the moment; or Xoel López, one of the emblems of the festival. The line up It is completed by great references in their respective musical genres such as Depedro, Alice Wonder, Lisandro Aristimuño, Rojuu, The Parrots, Instituto Mexicano Del Sonido and Flecha Valona.

According to the press release, for the first time the event will include a campsite at Carballeira de Caldas de Reis, a centuries-old natural area that will offer festival campers four days of accommodation in the heart of the town. It will also have five bus lines from different Galician towns and a new format "vermouth session" with specific musical programming in A Tafona, the center of Caldas de Reis. This meeting will take place in a thermal area next to the Umia River that offers a natural area open to anyone who wants to participate.

Music, nature, gastronomy, three stages, showrocking, talent market and camping will meet one more year in the natural and magical environment that is the Caldas de Reis region. One more year in which PortAmérica offers attendees round-trip bus lines from six of the main Galician towns. "Those interested will be able to travel to the festival from A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, Cambados, Vilagarcía and Vigo", assure the organizers.

The festival will also develop a Talent Factory, where Galician designers and creators (fashion, aesthetics, art, vintage…), they will have an unbeatable space to display and sell their creations. The call to register for this Factory will be open until May 15.

PortAmérica is not just music, gastronomy and nature. Also good ideas!
