Newness Cuba: August 22, 2023

Music lovers, once again we give you your weekly playlist as a religious ritual of good sound practices. As always, you can also find it on Youtube and Spotify.

For lovers of alternative, indie pop tops the list with a song by producer Bosito entitled
Olivia
. Along the same lines The eternal night by the indie rock band Ruido Blnco, which always manages to approach the subject of heartbreak in a different way. And following in this vein, soloist Giraldo Roca premieres with
Sin with desire
a proposal with an air of soul.

Alfredo Rodríguez enters our list again, this time with the single
Coral Way
which is part of his most recent phonographic production of the same name. Another new album release is that of percussionist Otto Santana, from which we selected Musa Arará, with Héctor Quintana and David Faya. It is a Latin jazz piece that, as its name suggests, contains references to this African culture that is an important part of our heritage.

On another note, we have news: habemus lo-fi made in Cuba;
Gamer girl made me sad
is the song with which Joel Poe appears on our radar. What is never missing is the cast, this time old school. Edisson, Wow Popy and El Ogbefum have left us their track
Mec
ánico, whose lyrics make clear references to Elvis Manuel and that reguetón classic
The Tuba
. The playlist is completed by other songs such as
Al suave
a rap with guitar by Kamankola;
Soy tu son,
a tribute by Manana Club to Adalberto Álvarez, and La vida, a single by Spanish musician Edu Spanish musician Edu Requejo with the production of Cuban Asen.
