Havana is a musical city in more than one sense, and sometimes its walls become the support through which sounds travel. <\/span> Under that premise, photographer Jorge Luis Toledo walked the streets of the city, long before this COVID-19 nightmare began, searching for those graffiti that return iconic faces of Cuban and foreign music. In his exploration, he met - and on more than one occasion - Benny Mor\u00e9, who watches passers-by either from a street in San Isidro and accompanied by Juan Formell and Elena Burke, as well as from the vicinity of the Cuban Arab Union, or inside the Armon\u00eda project, in Centro Habana.<\/p>\n

The colors of Compay Segundo caught the photographer, who also stopped at Faustino Oramas, James Brown, Amy Winehouse, Bj\u00f6rk, while the image of Formell in the Buena Vista neighborhood has become a must visit. The romantic idea of the city as a musical canvas stands out in this gallery, with (almost) anonymous pieces that return the soul to the many times ruined facades.<\/p>\n
