The first feature-length musical tribute to Silvio Rodr\u00edguez is already in production, under the direction of multi-award winning filmmaker Ernesto Padr\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Legend of the two lovers, <\/i>which takes its title from one of the Cuban troubadour's songs, is a 3D animated film resulting from the union of RTV Comercial, Ojal\u00e1 Studios and the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (Icaic).<\/p>\n
It is the love story between two young people who inhabit an archipelago of eleven islands, each represented by Silvio's songs, within a fantastic universe in which their encounter will become increasingly difficult due to a war that is taking place.<\/p>\n
Among the songs that make up the islands of this archipelago are the very well known Unicornio<\/i>, Oh, melancol\u00eda<\/i>, Whoever it was<\/i>, The dewdrop<\/i>, Water day<\/i>, days and flowers<\/i>, Causes and chances<\/i> and, of course, the one that gives the film its title, Legend of the two lovers<\/i>.<\/p>\n
The scenographies conceived for the film promote the values of Cuban painting and are inspired by the work of artists such as Flora Fong, Eduardo Roca (Choco), Nelson Dom\u00ednguez, Jos\u00e9 Rodr\u00edguez Fuster, Roberto Fabelo, Zaida del R\u00edo and Ernesto Ranca\u00f1o.<\/p>\n
Regarding the plot of the feature film, Ernesto Padr\u00f3n told Prensa Latina<\/i> that \"the premise of the story is that love can do anything, because it is one of the most powerful forces of the human condition\".<\/p>\n
