As every Tuesday we bring you Newness Cuba<\/em>our selection of premieres of the Cuban music scene, which you can find in our profiles of Youtube <\/a>and Spotify<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We start with the new track from Puerto Rican Vico C, entitled Blam Blam,<\/em> for which he invited Al2 El Aldeano and <\/span>his compatriot Gilberto Santa Rosa. <\/span>Also from the hand of veteran artists, came Manteca 2.0<\/em>a fantastic tribute to the rumba great Chano Pozo and the jazz genius Dizzy Gillespie.<\/span> Artists such as Yerba Buena, Los Van Van, Alain P\u00e9rez, Pedrito Mart\u00ednez, Gonzalo Rubalcaba and Yissy Garc\u00eda were involved.<\/span><\/p>\n

And precisely enters for the second week the pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba, who released this month the album Borrowed Roses<\/em>from which we chose his version of\u00a0<\/span>summer time<\/span><\/i>. Another repeat <\/span>is <\/span><\/i>trumpet player and composer Lachy Torriente with <\/span>King of Benin<\/span><\/i>which is a<\/span> is part of its first EP\u00a0<\/em>titled Black Sonata<\/em>of which we also recently highlighted in <\/span>our playlist<\/a> the song Vida<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the urban scene we find Wow Popy, who released a new album and we are left with <\/span>Hormones<\/span><\/i>the song inaugurates it; while Velito the Jester sneaks in with El Viento<\/em>. The theme that could not be missed is the surprising version of the punk<\/em> of the Chocolate MC classic <\/span>Divine Palon<\/span><\/i>by Chezca Zana, advocate of hyperreparto.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

Tuesday has arrived and Newness Cuba, the premiere playlist of the Cuban music scene, is now available. This week's new releases are led by the collaboration between Vico C, Al2 El Aldeano and Gilberto Santa Rosa.
