Arrived Tuesday and is now available Newness Cuba<\/em><\/a>the premiere playlist of the Cuban music scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

New this week is headlined by <\/span>The great unknown, <\/span><\/i>a powerful rock from the guitar of H\u00e9ctor T\u00e9llez Jr., along with Krist Novoselic, co-founder and bassist of the band Nirvana.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also among the first places was the new song by Noslen Porr\u00faa, Cuban troubadour with a sustained but discreet trajectory. Noslen currently resides in Argentina and from there comes to us <\/span>It gets wet<\/span><\/i>a ballad with organic sounds that seems to sing to the rain.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the more <\/span>underground<\/span><\/i> we have the infallible presence of the cast, with the duo of Charly & Johayron and their track <\/span>The bandits<\/span><\/i>. From another land but in the same tune is Chocolate MC, whose name appears for the second consecutive week in this list with a new song, <\/span>The dialect<\/span><\/i>this time with a different lyrical twist and an autobiographical connotation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the veteran side we have the latest release from Rxnde Akozta, <\/span>Sequelae, <\/span><\/i>a song that from the title announces the nostalgia of his life for those 90's when he started rapping. OKAN, the Afro-Cuban jazz duo based in Canada, released <\/span>Queen of the North<\/span><\/i>a rumba that makes you happy.<\/span><\/p>\n

For classical music, Sarah Willis, the Orchestra of the Lyceum of Havana and Jos\u00e9 Antonio M\u00e9ndez Padr\u00f3n released the album <\/span>Mozart and Mambo: La Bella Cubana<\/span><\/i>. From this we select the <\/span>Allegro<\/span><\/i> of the <\/span>Sinfonia concertante in E-flat major, K. 297b<\/span><\/i>He invited Jonathan Kelly, Wenzel Fuchs and Stefan Schweigert, colleagues of his in the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, for this piece.<\/span><\/p>\n
