From Chile, IMESUR 2022: recording sounds in extinction

One of the most relevant events within the creative industries worldwide is just around the corner. Every year, this event focuses on a country belonging to Latin America, and this 2022 will be focused on Chile; likewise, it will return to presence between October 12 and 15 with a series of fundamental milestones for the various agents that make up the musical ecosystem. 

In addition to the IMESUR Business Roundtable, the meeting will develop brief meetings between artists, festival programmers, media agencies and record labels, thus displaying a grid of conversations, panels and workshops focused on Connection, Synchronization and Musical Supervision, Equity, and New Technologies; fundamental axes to address the problems and urgencies of the sector, and also, to raise those proposals and resolutions that arise in these days.

2022 SCHEDULE

Wednesday the 12th October begins with the Business Roundtable IMESUR. The day continues at 2:00 p.m. with the “Spotify Classroom”, centered in showing the audience the tools and functions available in the app Spotify for Artists for artists to have more information about their performance, they can get to know their audiences better and boost their careers. This activity requires prior registration. 

The day continues with workshop Digital stores, strategies that cross borders, available by streaming on the event website; Y Functioning and objective of large publishers with growing artists, presented by Chinelo Entertainment, also via on-line. To close the day, Altafonte will raise the panel Internationalization and strategies: a look from digital distribution. 

On Thursday, October 13, it will begin with Listening session with music supervisors from around the world. Simultaneously, emphasis will be placed on promoting the positioning of artistic projects through spaces such as the panel Gaps for music synchronization in the audiovisual industry, in the hands of Chilecreativo and SANFIC. Among the nine activities to be carried out that day, is the conversation entitled Get ready to sync by Control Freaks and webcast. Then it's the conference's turn. Roles and functions of music supervision for film and advertising, also available on the event site. 

Finally, on the 15th, from 7:00 p.m., we will live the long-awaited final show Sounds in Extinction, an unprecedented and free show that will be recorded in an audiovisual production of the artists, in alliance with Quijote Films, and in which six outstanding local artists will be registered: Kinetica, Rubio, Natisú, Masquemusica, Andy and Hordatoj. This show has free tickets with prior registration HERE. Seats are limited.
