Because it's not for the body to be mistreated either

And so, after a few attempts, you come to a terrible conclusion: it is impossible to photograph sound. With rhythm it's easy. Since photography is also a thing of time; a sequence of beats on a drum can be previewed. However, it is impossible to photograph this or that chord, or the modulation that transforms a minor key into a major. However much a harmonic turn reminds us of a cycle, music cannot be photographed.

Such frustration was resolved, and it is this and no other -among the many fables I invent- the reason why the photographs in this gallery present, before sounds, moments of silence. Music sounds, no doubt, but the scenes portrayed here speak more of its effects and consequences.

All the images were taken during the last days of the last Jazz Plaza International Festival and show a variety of situations in the stages of the event.
