April Outlook: Mexico

April started off on the right foot celebrating one more edition of two well-loved festivals within the Mexican Republic. The Pal' Norte Festival took place in Monterrey on April 1 and 2, presenting performances by The Strokes, Natanael Cano, C.Tangana, Bizarrap and more, for more than 120,000 attendees per day. During the same weekend in the center of the country, specifically in CDMX, thousands of attendees enjoyed another meeting of Ceremony with the return of the Wu-Tang Clan, C. Tangana (also), ARCA, Nathy Peluso, Nicola Cruz and Nicki Nicole to name a few acts.

Recently, a musical project was born full of the energy of youth but with a musical essence that flows through vintage. The group from León, Guanajuato, Disco Bahía, has just presented its single Nostalgia, a theme that invites you to dance softly with that special person. 

From Mérida, comes a proposal that will make you travel through dream pop. Islas is premiering with the video of its single The eyes, track that with its cosmic vibrations will make you evoke the feeling of nostalgia. Mental Films was in charge of directing the accompanying footage and in which we can see a couple of strangers walk between flashes.

One of the most outstanding electronic projects in Mexico, Nortec: Bostich + Fussible presents its new studio album From north to south, through which they make a colorful journey that continues in their traditional norteño techno style. The latest from the Tijuana collective is presented via La Tuna Entertainment. 

The interpreter of the CDMX, Girl Ultra presents his third EP, The South, a project that he worked on for years to be able to conceive a new and refreshed facet of his music. May: What's Coming

In May there will be a big wave of festivals in Mexico. Pulse GNP, Akamba, GNP Bravo, Corona Capital Guadalajara, will be some of the meeting points for music lovers.
