We open this new edition of Newness Cuba with the single by MISIFUZ and Leonard Akozta, entitled RAPPERSTEINwhich has delighted us. Joao del Monte joins Munir Hossn to present to us Do Monte. Meanwhile, Telmary with Arturo O'Farrill and The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra bring Spiritual Without Selfishnessa piece that fuses Afro-Latin jazz with the spoken word by Telmary. Pavel Urquiza and Alí Arango give us the cozy Hug.
The Havana Meets Kingston project continues to bear fruit; now in a collaboration between Mista Savona, Stickybuds, Brenda Navarrete and Dayán Carrera Fernández, entitled Always Yes (Stickybuds Remix)which fuses the Caribbean rhythms of Cuba and Jamaica. For his part, Nanny brings us Sanda proposal that mixes urban music with its influences from soul and R&B.
Al2 El Aldeano joins, as usual, Raymond Daniel to introduce HIP HOP CON100CIA #38 - FATHER. Broken Bones is the title track of José Turreiro's debut album, a collaboration with Alexzoez in which they experiment with sound textures within an urban context. Closing this selection we have Tropicana (El Búho Remix)which brings together Sinego, PAUZA, El Búho and Cucu Diamantes, achieving a fusion of electronic sounds with tropical rhythms.
