Welcome to a new installment of Newness Cubathe gateway to the current musical production of Cuban artists. As every week, we invite you to a journey through 50 tracks that photograph the validity and diversity of Cuban music.

We start with Ironythe one we predict will be another hit in the El Dray sequence with DJ Conds; and Arere: Ancestral Strength, by Melvis Santa, an invocation to the strength of the ancestors. He is followed by Alex Cuba and his Tía Yoya with dawna song that previews his next album, Voices of my familya beautiful project that we will be talking about.

The pace accelerates with NicePablo Timba, Esteban Galo and El Niño y la Verdad's electronic version of this classic immortalized by Benny Moré. Meanwhile, Dayron Ortiz gives us a delicate version of Easy Songa single that is part of her upcoming tribute to Marta Valdés. Chezca Zana, on the other hand, returns to the arena with her usual irreverence with a song that from the title seeks to provoke:  The Art of Going to the Watercress and Getting It Right.

Finally comes Machiran's much-announced solo debut, ALEXa sensual and fresh proposal that warns us to keep it on our radar. Others who are also premiering are Mephisto, the veteran Cuban metal band, who have released Hatred And Chaospart of their EP Cries of the Midnigh Horde... Meanwhile, Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 are once again collaborating with El Chulo, Jacob Forever and Wampi on Prettier in Person.

We close the list of new entries with Deep Feelinga tribute to the Cuban rumba tradition which is part of the The Faithful Lovers of Rumba, the new album by the Rumba All-Stars collective.
