Fondo de Arte Joven announces next concert at the Teatro Nacional de Bellas Artes

The Fondo de Arte Joven (FAJ), a platform for the promotion of emerging art, is celebrating the month of Europe in Cuba with Open courtyarda musical experience that celebrates the month of Europe in Cuba. The sound encounter will take place next Sunday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the National Museum of Fine Arts Theater.

As announced by the platform on social networks, this live space promises to be a magical and evocative atmosphere for the audience, as it will combine the ancestral sounds of the hurdy-gurdy and tambura -traditional instruments of European music- with the energy and passion of jazz.

The experience, unprecedented in Cuban stages, will be accompanied by composers and performers Germán Díaz, from Spain, and Filip Novosel, from Croatia, special guests who will share the stage with young Cuban musicians who have won the calls for proposals launched by the fund, a year after its creation.

This presentation will foster creative and academic exchange and will serve as an encounter between artists of different generations, and between Cuba and Europe, through innovative sounds and musical arrangements by guitarist and composer Dayron Ortiz for this premiere, with musical direction by Yosvany Terry and Lorenzo Suárez,

The show, financed and produced by the FAJ, in its role as a niche sponsor of creative and academic residencies for young artists and entrepreneurship in the Global South, will also have the support of the European Union Delegation in Cuba.
