New edition of Cubatonazo expected to shake Florida again

In 2016, Cubatonazo was born, an annual event to bring together the urban genre entertainment in the "Magic City". And this year 2023 is no exception: on November 11, the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, in Florida, will host a Cuban reggaeton marathon.

With great fanfare in many media the event is announced as "the biggest party of Cuban music", and although it is undeniable the convening power of the event, the truth is that Cuban music is not exhausted in a single genre.

But the hype is not in vain, the lineup is headed by figures such as El Chacal, with 20 years of artistic career and a Lo Nuestro Award for the best collaboration of the year in 2017 ( Oh my God along with Wisin & Yandel, IAmChino and Pitbull); Miss Dayana, the Cuban reggaeton singer who has best sustained her career; Miami favorites Gente de Zona; and representative voices from the cast such as El Chulo and LKimii.

The evening will also feature DJ Yus, recognized in Miami for his work on the popular radio station Ritmo 95.7FM.

Cubatonazo is an event produced by Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) a radio operator specializing in the Hispanic audience with more than 17 stations and a key figure in the U.S. media scene focused on the Latino community. One of its most popular stations is precisely the aforementioned Miami Ritmo 95.7FM, Cubaton y Más, which is celebrating its seventh anniversary. "We are always creating new opportunities for our listeners to enjoy their favorite artists, live. This event, every year, is a total success," were the words of Alessandra Alarcón, president of entertainment for SBS.

Coincidentally, this is the seventh edition of this event that has become a tradition for the Cuban community living in the southern U.S. The Cubatonazo stage has seen artists such as Leonis Torres, El Micha, El Taiger and some shooting stars of the cast. The good management of the event always guarantees a lineup of great call, as demonstrated by the sold-out of 2022. Tickets are on sale starting today, September 8. through the Ticketmaster platform.
