The AM:PM Route - Music Events (September 28 - October 4)
As every Thursday, the AM:PM route returns, our indiscriminate selection of musical events taking place during the week.
The Oralitura Habana Festival will be held today and until next Sunday. Its inaugural concert will be given by Liuba Maria Hevia and Nano Stern tonight at the Martí Theater. If your thing is the repentismo, you know, you have four days full of lots of décima. If you prefer concert music, we recommend you to be aware of the Mozart Habana Festival. This new edition of the event will take place from October 1 to 7.
In New York something is cooking a couple of days ago, the result will be two concerts by Cimafunk and Chucho Valdés at the Blue Note New York today, September 28th and Sunday, October 1st.
Alain Pérez, Caramelo de Cuba and percussionist Piraña don't always get together. Today Thursday and Saturday 30th, the trio will be in concert at Recoletos Jazz, Madrid.
