Newness Cuba: September 5, 2023

It's time to update the sound landscape with NewnessA playlist with a selection of the most recent releases of Cuban music. Go to Youtube or SpotifyThe platforms where the new songs are already available.

This time, the playlist is inaugurated by Alexander Abreu with Noro and Primera Clase,  On credit is a slice of the original Cuban salsa brought to us by this combo.

There are some things that can't be avoided, among them that Chocolate would bring out a theme and qualify in this selection. And so it was. Bombing is a pretext for to continue to bask in the place he has given himself in the casting genre: "the king". But what's interesting this week is the contrast of old and new school in this current. That's why we also have Maleante by Wampi, a young artist who became popular very quickly and who is bringing freshness to the genre.

In the line of urban Al2 el Aldeano releases a new song, following the old formula of a fast rap over a very melodic background, with Orphanage.

Artists such as Jacob Gurevitsch and Julio Fowler have released a couple of very beautiful ballads: the instrumental For your lovetogether with Arturo Sandoval;  and When I listen to my hearttogether with Carlitos Manso Sera and Joe Luis Vazquez, respectively.

And we close with the great novelty: the Sindicato del Ritmo, successor project of Rythms of the world. In our playlist you will find PalmarThe second song of this project, covered in complicity with its original author, Caloncho.
